      A leader in South Bay real estate for the better part of a decade, Richard thrives as an advisor to his clients with over $248 million in sales as a broker or investment principal at his boutique agency, Haynes. Richard is known for his keen local market insights which have been featured in the L.A. Times, The Street, and Forbes, along with his weekly South Bay real estate blog.

      Specializing in residential homes from Palos Verdes to Manhattan Beach, Richard was a top producing agent in 2022 landing in the top 350 agents in California out of over 212,00 licensed Realtors. Among his accomplishments, Richard has sold multiple properties on The Strand in Hermosa and Manhattan Beach as well as completing an eight-figure transaction in prestigious Palos Verdes Estates. Richard’s reputation is built on his honest, client-first approach and expert local advice that leads to smooth, successful transactions.

      In addition, Richard dedicates time to investing in small to medium-sized income properties, coastal spec development and select low-income housing opportunities which is a valuable resource to clients looking to expand their portfolio beyond residential homes.
      Prior to opening his real estate brokerage, Richard began his career in real estate finance and as an investment principal in 2007. A proud USC Marshall School of Business graduate with a focus in Entrepreneurship, Richard conducted numerous feasibility studies and business plans focused on the field of real estate.

      Richard was born and raised in Palos Verdes and currently lives in Valmonte with his wife, Nicole, and two children, March and Reece. When Richard is not in his Malaga Cove office you can find him coaching t-ball, taking family walks in Valmonte and hanging out in the beach cities. Richard is also a proud donor to the Peninsula Education Foundation and the USC Marshall School of Business. Richard believes there is no place better in the world to live than the South Bay and loves to share his in-depth knowledge about this market he calls home.
