Perched on the hillside of Rancho Palos Verdes is lovely the Los Verdes area. Children here attend Vista Grande Elementary school (with a small slice going to Montemalaga Elementary), Ridgecrest Intermediate School (the small slice attending Palos Verdes Intermediate), and either Palos Verdes Peninsula High School or Palos Verdes High School.
